<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>

<p>We are looking for a new colleague who will join as Corporate Credit Analyst<strong> </strong>within the Global Commercial Credit department. Every one of our Corporate Credit Analysts<strong> </strong>represent the American Express brand. They take work seriously because they are more than just a voice on the phone; they are problem solvers and relationship builders.</p>

<p>As one of our Corporate Credit Analysts, you will be the main point of contact for customers with corporate cards as well as for middle, large and global companies who hold different Commercial products offered by American Express.</p>

<p>Your main responsibility is to collect and negotiate overdue payments, but you will also put the Customer first by enabling spends, offering resolutions and creating responsible payers.</p>

<p>Like every customer, every situation is unique. However, some of your responsibilities are clear. You will:</p>

<ul><li>Handle incoming and outgoing calls for credit related matters</li><li>Reply to incoming emails</li><li>Make profitable spend decisions based on risk assessment and card member profiles</li><li>Recommend cancellation or suspension of spending privileges where required</li><li>Effectively negotiate and discuss alternate payment arrangements and repayment plans</li><li>Avoid potential losses/write-offs</li></ul>

<p>We are looking for new colleagues who are fluent in Dutch, French and English. For this position it is important you are able to take a professional approach to challenging situations. This challenge is particularly interesting for those who are interested in understanding customers’ financial arrangements and requirements, are strong in relationship building, and have great problem solving and decision-making skills.</p>
