As a Social Media Content Moderator, you will play a key role in supporting one of the world’s largest social media platforms. Your responsibility is to review and moderate user-generated content, ensuring it aligns with platform policies, community standards, and legal regulations. This is a vital role in today’s digital world—where you directly contribute to creating a positive and respectful online environment.Your Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and review user-generated content, including posts, videos, images, and advertisementsIdentify and escalate content that violates community guidelines or legal regulationsConduct content analysis to determine the appropriate action based on predefined policiesRespond to content issues with professionalism and empathyProvide written support and reporting, ensuring consistency and accuracy in documentationEnsure prompt and effective resolution of flagged content issuesParticipate in regular team calibration sessions to stay updated on policy changesMaintain a high level of discretion and emotional resilience, especially when dealing with sensitive or graphic material
Requirements
Fluency in Dutch (written and spoken) – essentialGood level of English – for internal communication and trainingStrong attention to detail and critical thinking skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environmentExcellent written communication and analytical capabilitiesAbility to maintain professional objectivity, even when reviewing distressing content
