The Company.

Our client is a renowned marketing and sales services provider with a modern and bright office in Barcelona, currently recruiting a native French speaker who wants to develop a career in business development.

The Job.

In this role you will be responsible for qualifying leads and converting them into business opportunities for the sales representatives. The main tasks include:

– Qualifying and identifying the needs of potential new customers by applying an effective selling strategy 
– Constantly looking for potential new prospects to maximize coverage
– Forwarding qualified leads to sales representatives who will continue the sales process
– Establishing strong collaborations with your sales contacts in order to improve your communication and develop your market knowledge
– Keeping track of your lead pipeline and trying to progress it
– Constantly improving your product and market knowledge


The Profile.

You are either a recent graduate with business development experience who wants to start his career in a renowned company or you have already gained a couple of years of experience in business development and would like to further develop your acquired skills.

– You are a French native speaker with a very fluent level in English
– You have at least 1 year of experience in business development, lead generation or similar
– You have a strong interest in IT and/or business software like ERP systems
– You have excellent listening skills 
– You are not afraid of picking up the phone
– You are not an aggressive sales person and you have very professional telephone manners
– You are proactive, willing to learn and have the ambition to grow professionally
– You are a strong team player, but also able to handle tasks independently and without guidance
– You are target oriented and preferably have worked already in such an environment before
– You are a humble person and easy to connect with people
