Description

Install and test new equipment.Have advanced crimping skills for connectors like BNC, Micro BNC, RJ45, and XLR.Be knowledgeable in AV broadcast hardware and IT networking, including setting up star networks.Understand scalers and matrix functions.Set up and maintain equipment for virtual studio production.Set up and monitor audio-visual links between units.Analyze and fix technical faults in equipment and systems.Quickly find and use alternative methods when equipment fails to minimize service loss.Set up and operate equipment for outside broadcasts.Design and install custom audio-visual circuits.Design and manufacture hardware and systems.Follow best practices for workplace health and safety.Follow instructions from product owners, creative directors, and colleagues.Communicate effectively with team members and colleagues.Stay updated on industry trends and technology by networking and researching new systems and techniques.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator.Experience with Cisco equipment (having a CCNA certification would be ideal).Strong knowledge of networking.Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).Familiarity with monitoring and managing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
