About this opportunity Welo Data is building a talent pipeline of PhD-level experts in South Korea in anticipation of upcoming work with a major AI client. This is not a role starting immediately — it's an early call for experts so we're ready to move the moment the project is confirmed. Requirements

We're looking for depth of expertise, not general familiarity: • A completed PhD (or ABD near completion) in one of the following fields: o Social & Behavioral Science (psychology, sociology, anthropology, political science, economics, etc.) o Humanities (history, philosophy, religious studies, area studies, etc.) o Arts (art history, performance studies, music, media & cultural studies, etc.) o Language & Linguistics (Korean language, translation studies, applied linguistics, literature, etc.) • Native or professional fluency in Korean • Strong writing and reasoning skills — able to explain nuanced ideas clearly • Comfort working independently in a remote, deadline-driven setting
