We transform business processes to achieve sustainable growth by optimizing people, technology, data and intelligence.THE WORKConstitute a Single Point of Contact for the client's Financial Controller for all finance-related queriesBuild and maintain a strong relationship with the client's Financial ControllerDrive issue resolution in other towers: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Buy CenterCoordinate month/quarter/year close activities in an accurate and timely mannerPrepare journal entries, e.g. accruals, prepaid expenses, cost allocationsReconcile balance-sheet/intercompany accounts reconciliationSupport Statutory Reporting (Financial Statements, VAT, CIT, Statistical Reports)Perform B/S and high-level P/L analysis for obvious errors, omissions or inconsistenciesMaintain SOX compliance in GL processes, in particular in terms of Journal Entries and ReconciliationsCoordinate and support audit of financial statements

Requirements

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEEDFluent English and Hungarian (B2) Approximately 3 years of proven experience in a similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsMaster degree in accountancy, economics or finance Proactive work style, experienced in implementing process improvements MS Office (mainly Excel) skills are essential; SAP knowledge Knowledge of GAAP's, SOX control and reporting standards/procedures Flexibility, especially in the period of month/year end closing Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment with many stakeholders across various locations of the world
