Welo Data is seeking native-level Spanish (Mexico) speakers for Project Hydrus, a conversational AI voice recording project.What You'll Do:✅ Submit two short audition recordings demonstrating natural conversational speech and customer-service style✅ Participate in two supervised recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each✅ Record scripted material in a natural, everyday conversational tone✅ Record spontaneous speech on assigned topics while maintaining consistent warmth and pace✅ Follow live direction from a Session Director during supervised sessions✅ Manage your own home recording space and professional audio equipment✅ Deliver all recordings entirely in Mexican Spanish, without switching to other languages or dialectsPreferred (Not Required):• Professional voice-over experience in dubbing, ADR, audiobooks, or conversational podcasting• An existing acoustically treated home recording studioLocation: Remote (Mexico)Pay: $40/hourDuration: Approximately 8 hours totalSessions: Two supervised sessions, approximately 4 hours eachStart Date: Not specifiedJob Type: Freelance

Requirements

Requirements:• Native or native-equivalent fluency in Spanish (Mexico)• Experience as a voice actor, actor, theater performer, or comparable performance background• Access to a quiet recording space free of echo and background noise• Professional-grade microphone for auditions, with qualifying USB condenser or XLR microphone and audio interface for paid sessions if selected• Closed-back monitoring headphones for supervised recording sessions• Ability to self-direct auditions and follow live direction• Basic audio recording skills, including microphone positioning and identifying noise, clipping, and distortion
