German-Speaking Account Executive – Ads Sales Location: Barcelona, Spain €24.310,00 + up to €4.290,00  gross/year in bonus________________________________________ Purpose of the Role As an Account Executive, you’ll be the main point of contact for small and medium-sized businesses looking to grow through our advertising platform. You’ll actively prospect new clients while also working with qualified leads from the BDR team. Your goal is to understand each client’s business, present tailored advertising strategies, and turn new opportunities into long-term partnerships that drive revenue growth. ________________________________________ Responsibilities • Identify and prospect high-potential SMB clients through outbound outreach (calls, emails, research), alongside BDR-qualified leads • Own the full sales cycle, from first contact or pitch to closing deals • Present tailored advertising strategies aligned with each client’s goals (e.g. Promoted Pins, Shopping Ads, Video Ads) • Build and grow a portfolio of SMB clients, focusing on long-term relationships and revenue growth • Understand client goals, challenges, and media strategies, and translate data into clear, compelling recommendations • Run regular client meetings to review performance, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and remove blockers • Maintain accurate records in Salesforce, including pipeline, activities, and forecasts • Work closely with the BDR team to improve lead quality and targeting ________________________________________ Requirements • C2 level of German and C1 level of English (written and spoken) • Experience in digital advertising sales or B2B account management • Proven ability to prospect, build pipeline, and close deals independently• Confidence in pitching, negotiating, and working with decision-makers • Experience combining outbound prospecting with account management • Strong CRM skills (Salesforce preferred) and ability to manage pipelines effectively • Familiarity with platforms like Pinterest Ads, Meta Ads, or similar is a plus • Clear communicator who can simplify complex ideas • Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven ________________________________________ Desirable Skills • Process improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills • Clear and effective communication across different audiences • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building ability • Open-minded and adaptable approach • Strong critical thinking and data-driven decision-making • Solution-oriented mindset • Entrepreneurial attitude with initiative and creativity ________________________________________ Benefits • Full-time (39 hours/week) hybrid role in Barcelona • Referral program: earn up to €2,000 for successful hires • Ongoing training, certifications, and dedicated sales development • Clear career progression with coaching and support • Supportive and motivating team environment
