Group and Event Travel Coordinator (German Speaking)Location: Barcelona, Spain - HybridSalary: €32,000 base + 10% bonus (compensation open to negotiation)Languages: Native Level of German, Fluent English (C1)Experience: 4+ years in Group Travel & GDS (Amadeus)WHAT'S THE PROJECT?The project is that you bring your talent and your ambition to a global leader in business travel and event management. Our client is expanding its European footprint by launching a brand-new hub directly out of Barcelona. Joining a supportive, multicultural environment, you'll play a pivotal role in opening and building the German market presence, delivering high-end travel solutions to premium international clients across Europe.AND WHAT'S MY ROLE IN THIS?As Group Travel Coordinator, you'll take full ownership of end-to-end group travel requests and venue sourcing for VIP German clients, ensuring high-quality operational delivery and direct client satisfaction.Receive, analyze, and manage complex client briefs for group bookings and FIT (personalized) group arrangements for the German market. Source venues, arrange flights, trains, and accommodation using Amadeus GDSHandle direct daily communication with client project managers from quote creation to project executionCollaborate closely with international teams across France, Switzerland, the UK, and global officesProvide operational cross-market support to colleagues in peak periods while maintaining SLA standards

Requirements

OK, AND WHAT DO YOU NEED?4+ years of experience in travel managementAdvanced experience of GDS tools, specifically Amadeus (mandatory)Native or professional fluency in German combined with strong business English (mandatory)Proven track record in direct client service and managing complex group requirementsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tight deadlinesExperience with Qondor or Cvent platforms (strong plus)Working knowledge of French or Spanish (a plus)
